It's July 11.. I'm totally sure that yesterday was June 15.. where has the last month gone?
Despite a cool start to the summer, the July 4th holiday rolled in on a warm sunny weekend.. thank you weather gods! Amazing (and hot) crowds every day! Thanks to an amazing staff that worked doubles everyday.. and WOW to the DJ line up: Ralphi, Roland, Paulo, Seth and Theresa - plus Amy & Freddy, Kelly & Rick and Hannaniah Whitley all in the cabaret -- Amazing talent!
Employee turnabout was Thursday July 9th, proceeds benefiting Wishbone Pet Rescue.. kudos to the staff for dressing and performing in drag for charity.. we raised over $2800!
What's ahead:
The Dunes Pool is open everyday 10am to dusk with the bar open 11-7.. food service from the Blue Frog is available Wednesday - Monday 10:30-5:30p.
Every Wednesday is the Pool Cookout and drag queen Bingo benefiting Westshore Aware 5:30-8p.
Karaoke continues every Thursday 9p.
Tea Dance every Sunday 4-9p followed by the Dunes Divas in the Cabaret at 9:30p.
Far Future:
Summer is flying by.. don't wait or it will be over.. make your reservations, plan your weekend, day or week and get to the Dunes! Celebrating 34 years of being the Midwest Largest LGBT Resort & Entertainment Complex!!
